Camelbak Launches Its New 2022 Products

CamelBak has launched the brand new Fusion Reservoir, available in 2L and 3L versions as well as 6L and 10L group versions. New CamelBak Filtered By LifeStraw products for filtering water from bacteria, parasites, microplastics, chlorine, lead and other impurities.

CamelBak, the inventor of hands-free hydration and the global leader in award winning hydration products is pleased to introduce the new CamelBak Filtered by LifeStraw Eddy+ Bottles and CRUX reservoir Filtration Kit.

When exploring the great outdoors, better take no chances. The new line of Eddy+ bottles filtered by LifeStraw features a 20oz/0.6L and 32oz/1L TritanRenew version and a vacuum insulated stainless steel 1L model. There is also a 2L CRUX reservoir.

They all come with a LifeStraw developed filtration kit that is designed to keep risk of water contamination to the bare minimum.

In the new Eddy+ filtered by LifeStraw bottles, filtration happens in two steps: first, the hollow fiber filter collects 99.99% of bacteria, parasites, and microplastics (filters 4,000 litres/1,000 gallons). Then, the ion exchange filter reduces lead, taste and odor, chlorine, and other chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides (filters 100 liters /25 gallons).

Afterwards the water makes its way up via the straw to the spill-proof and leak-proof proprietary Bite Valve, so that you can finally enjoy clean and delicious water. Eddy+ standard version is in TritanRenew, which is made from 50% recycled materials. The vacuum insulated stainless steel 1L version keeps your water cold for up to 30 hours.

Outfit your pack with flexibility and the built-in confidence of clean and safe drinking water. Crux 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit filtered by LifeStraw will make sure your water is safe. This reservoir kit differs in the filter: it uses LifeStraw's activated carbon filter.

Fusion is ultralight (-30% compared to the CRUXTM) and comes equipped with a universal hanger for all hydration-compatible packs. Its molded backplate creates a thin profile with no need for baffles, so cleaning is that much easier, plus the reservoir stays in place even when it is empty. This enhanced hydration solution allows you concentrate on the adventure at hand and, speaking of hands, the integrated handle and pinch grip construction allow for single-handed filling from sinks and refrigerators.

The opening features a durable and waterproof Tru Zip that is simple to open and close while the tried and tested Quicklink System with BigBite Valve ensures easy on-the-go reservoir removal from the pack and 20% more water per sip. As well as in all other CamelBak reservoirs, proprietary Hydroguard technology limits bacteria proliferation in the reservoir and tube. The new Fusion reservoir is compatible with CamelBak Filtered by Lifestraw filtration kit.

Fusion 6L or 10L Group Reservoirs with Tru Zip Waterproof Zipper are an expanded hydration solution, perfect for adventures with friends and family. They are set to provide your crew’s hike, run or cycling outings with an amazing amount of hydration.

Fusion’s Hypalon-reinforced hanging points allows you to hang it from a tree or other surfaces for performance purposes no matter where you are. The integrated handle makes sure you can carry it comfortably with you; a shoulder strap is also available, for an even easier carry; Fusion includes the QuickLink compatible tube and a campout convenient high flow spigot that fills vessels and comes in handy for washing or cooking.

Compatible with CamelBak filtered by LifeStraw reservoir filter kit for clean drinking water, it collapses easily for quick storage when the party is over. Skid patch on rear of reservoir provides additional abrasion resistance. The 6L version can also be used as an icepack in most large coolers.

The hiking backpack collection has been redesigned to include the new 18L Cloud Walker.
