Brass Bands Set For Kirchberg From May 26th To 29th

After the 'Woodstock of brass bands', which took place brilliantly in Brixental in March, brass band sounds will once again set the tone in Kirchberg from May 26th to 29th. Not only inveterate music and musician friends can look forward to a four-day highlight.

Off in lederhosen and dirndl: "Night of Tracht" on Friday

Seven music bands or music groups from Austria, Germany and the Netherlands meet in the Brixental community at the end of May to take part in the 7th Int. Band gatherings to celebrate the music. In typical costume, the participating bands present musical impressions from their home regions from Thursday to Sunday, with the spectrum ranging from traditional groups to hunting and alphorn players to bands that simply enjoy music.

The official start will take place on Thursday, May 26, at 8 p.m. at the music pavilion on the village square in Kirchberg with the opening concert by a guest band. On Friday at 10 a.m., the participating bands start a guided hike on the Hahnenkamm. Another highlight on Friday evening is the "Night of Traditional Costumes": From 8 p.m. everyone goes dressed up to the arena365, where the "Junger Schwing" brass band sets the tone.

Saturday is dedicated to the square concerts

On Saturday, friends of music and musicians can draw from the full. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. there will be concerts by the participating bands in the village center (in the arena365 in bad weather). After that, at 8 p.m., the music band meeting at the indoor festival of the Kirchberg volunteer fire brigade shifts into the next gear.

Don't oversleep, that's the motto on Sunday: after the ceremonial vehicle inauguration on the Kirchberg village square, we continue with a morning pint at the fire brigade's hall festival
