Bogus Basin To Open For Bonus Day On May 3rd

Bogus Basin has announced plans to reopen for a bonus day of skiing and snowboarding on May 3rd, 2025. The area reached a remarkable milestone in March, reaching a 100″ Base Depth on March 20th, 2025.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the community to the mountain in May, for only the second time in our 83-year history. Bonus days like this showcase what makes Bogus Basin unique – our unwavering commitment as a non-profit to provide accessible mountain recreation for the Treasure Valley community, even after our season has ended and every other mountain in Idaho has closed.” said Brad Wilson, General Manager
In celebration of being the last mountain offering lift service in the state of Idaho, the area welcomes all 2024/25 Bogus Basin season pass holders, as well as season pass holders from any mountain* to enjoy the bonus day.
Day tickets will be sold at the Mountain Ticket Office from 8:30 am to 4 pm. Ski and snowboard equipment will be available for rent at the Rental Shop. Skiing and snowboarding lessons will not be offered.

We’re especially grateful to our season pass holders, whose annual investment in the mountain helps make rare opportunities like this possible.” concluded Nate Shake, Director of Mountain Operations
