34th FIS Children Races Organisers Committee Meeting Held In Belgrade

The Ski Association of Serbia hosted the 34th FIS Children Races Organisers Committee Meeting at Hotel Zlatnik in Belgrade. In a meeting attended by members from Italy, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France and Serbia, the Swedish committee representative, Hans-Peter Carlson, was elected to follow in Mauro Detasis’s footsteps as President. 

Also in attendance were FIS Alpine Technical and Administrative Coordinator Janez Flere and Medical Committee Vice Chair Jenny Shute.

In addition to the regular activities, the new statutes of the FIS Children Races Organisers Committee were accepted, and the calendar of international competitions for 2019 confirmed. The calendars for the next four years were presented as drafts.

In the upcoming winter, the traditional children’s competition that has been held in Serbia since 1990, the Eurocrem Cup, will take place on the 24th and 25th February 2019 at the Ski Center Iver in Mokra Gora.
