Quebec Ski Resorts Association unveils its new board of directors

Gathered in At the Hôtel Mont-Gabriel in Sainte-Adèle in the Laurentians, members of the Association des stations de ski du Québec (ASSQ) yesterday elected the new board of directors for the coming year. Mr. Marc-André Meunier, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing at Bromont, montagne d'expériences, and Ms. Sandra Nadeau, General Manager at Ski Le Relais, join former directors re-elected this year. All directors will be tasked with overseeing the implementation of the ASSQ's action plan and ensuring that it remains aligned with industry priorities.

The 2025-2026 winter season presents several perspectives: access to financing for strategic infrastructure, supporting resorts in adapting to climate change, and the deployment of initiatives to develop new skiers are at the forefront of the new year. The presence of sliding sports at the Glissades Gamelin in Montreal's Quartier des spectacles, in order to showcase the culture and pleasures of Quebec winter, will also be an important initiative deployed by the ASSQ team.

The Iniski and Inisurf Foundation at School, Big Winner of the ASSQ President's Golf Tournament

Following the ASSQ's annual general meeting, members enjoyed a friendly round of golf on the Mont Gabriel Golf Club course under a radiant sun. The big winner of the 2025 edition was the Iniski and Inisurf at School Foundation, which benefited from the funds raised through the virtual auction, which totaled more than $14,700! This amount will allow the organization to continue its initiatives to support the next generation of skiers and snowboarders in Quebec. Each year, more than 40,000 young people discover snow sports thanks to educational programs and initiatives supported by the Foundation.

Bringing together 73 Quebec ski resorts, the ASSQ is a non-profit organization that represents and defends the interests of member ski resorts, promotes the practice of snow sports, and improves product quality and resort performance. Established in the ski industry for over 40 years, its mandate to develop the next generation of skiers and snowboarders in Quebec is achieved primarily through the sale of financing products such as the Ski Passe-Partout. Annually, more than 40,000 young people are introduced to snow sports through the ASSQ's various programs.
