Fall Festival & News At Mont Sutton For The Start Of The School Year!

Autumn is slowly arriving in the mountains with the change of colors already noticeable in places and certainly heralds the upcoming arrival of the popular MONT SUTTON FALL FESTIVAL , which will once again take place over 5 weekends, from September 20 to October 19 , including Monday, October 13, Thanksgiving Day.
An accessible and affordable family festival
Exclusive events, fun workshops for young and old, outdoor shows, a special menu at the Cube-Ik outdoor restaurant, a big fall sale at the Boutique Expérience SUTTON, hikes to discover the sculptures in our open-air museum, tastings of regional wines, and more will once again be on the agenda this year over 5 explosive weekends.
Activities, many of which remain completely free, such as the mini-rope courses at the base and summit, the nature seek and find for toddlers, workshops offered by the artist Lysanne Sabourin every Sunday, a VR expo day on Saturday, October 18, and much more will be announced very soon on the event page at montsutton.com/automne .
While we wait for the full program, you can mark your calendars for some quality time outdoors. Please note: overnight camping at the summit and giant zip line descents must be booked in advance, as some dates already offer very limited spaces!
Some new seasonal items
Although the Fall Festival only begins on Saturday, September 20, and the chairlift and giant zip line are only open on weekends, the Plein air Sutton / MTB mountain bike trails at Mont SUTTON, to which a new progression trail should be added very soon, as well as the 18-basket disc golf circuit, are open 7 days a week until November!
In fact, a new disc golf clinic with professional player Julien Quenneville is now available at Mont SUTTON by reservation in advance! Lasting approximately 1.5 hours, this clinic allows you to learn everything about this discipline, develop a more competitive approach, and further your technical mastery. A workshop to watch out for will be offered as part of the Fall Festival on Saturday , September 27 !
Two new sculptures along the trails will be of note: a Red-tailed Hawk by artist Martin Hawley and two friendly Raccoons, Sut & Ton with their snowboard, designed by Bromisquois resident Gaëtan Boulais. The Arts in the Mountains trail will also be available as a self-guided hike starting this fall, in addition to the guided tour offered every weekend during the festival. Everyone is invited to take a portrait of these friendly forest dwellers and, why not, participate in the weekly photo contest, which continues until Thursday, October 23!
To further explore the mountain, a four-season geocaching trail is also in preparation, which will be ready to entertain young and old as part of the Fall Festival!
