Sportbahnen Melchsee-Frutt: Bettina Hübscher Takes Over Management

Bettina Hübscher will definitively take over the management of Sportbahnen Melchsee-Frutt from summer 2025

A trained lawyer, she has been supporting the Kerns Corporation for years in various roles. As corporation clerk, she headed the firm from November 2007 to February 2013 and managed the Melchtal Sports Camp from March 2010 to February 2013. Since December 2016, she has chaired the administrative committee of the Melchsee-Frutt Sports Cable Cars. From May 2024 until the end of 2024 and from February 2025, she will lead the operation as interim managing director.

During this time, various processes were optimized and projects initiated. Bettina Hübscher comments: "Implementing these projects now promises to be an exciting time. I am equally excited about assuming management and project responsibility at the operational level, as well as being able to contribute to the design process. Equal opportunities will also be available to intensify collaboration with destination partners and work on the destination concept."

The assumption of operational activities also leads to a change in the Melchsee-Frutt Sports Railways' Administrative Board. Markus Ettlin-Niederberger, a member of the Administrative Board since 2015, will also take over the presidency in the summer.
