The Regional Summits offer tactical workshops in key markets, while the Global Summit, held in conjunction with Winter Sports Retailers, convenes the entire industry for three days of learning, thought leadership, collaboration, and on-snow experiences.

The 2025 Global Summit, held this past March at Sundance Resort and in partnership with Winter Sports Retailers, was a resounding success, drawing 137 participants from across the industry—including 35 retailers (representing well over $70 million in buying power), representation of 39 resorts, 63 suppliers from alpine, snowboard, nordic and outerwear, and 26 expert speakers spanning 14 sessions. Attendees engaged in dynamic discussions on critical topics such as tariffs, compliance, and sustainability, while forging new connections and strengthening existing partnerships.

Industry leaders and participants lauded the event’s collaborative spirit and unique setting. Tecnica Group applauded the Summit for focusing on some of the key issues facing the industry, saying “As an industry, we are in uncharted waters as we collectively navigate issues like tariffs, compliance, and modern marketing. Being able to hear from, speak with and learn from the diverse group of panelists and attendees was invaluable.”

Similarly, Burton called the Global Summit “An incredible experience that brought together so many diverse corners of our industry, while engaging speakers and thought-provoking discussions sparked valuable insights. The chance to collaborate with both longtime friends and new connections was truly inspiring and we're already looking ahead to next year.”

The overwhelming positive feedback reflects the Summit Series’ value in fostering industry-wide dialogue, actionable insights, and a renewed sense of community. SIA encourages all members of the snowsports industry to save the dates and join these essential events in 2026. Registration details and programming updates will be announced soon.
