More Swedish Skiers Receive Olympic Support

The Swedish Olympic Committee is expanding its Top and Talent support program with three new skiers. At the same time, three more skiers will receive special support ahead of the 2026 Olympics in Milan Cortina. “This is an important recognition of the potential of our athletes,” says Pernilla Bonde, Secretary General of the Swedish Ski Association.

Three active members of the Swedish Ski Association's operations take part in the Swedish Olympic Committee's support program Top and Talent: Cornelia Öhlund (alpine), Linnea Mobärg (ski cross) and Robin Olgård (mogul). All three have taken important steps towards the international elite during the past season - with both JVM gold, World Cup points and top 10 finishes at the World Championships.

At the same time, three more skiers – Moa Ilar (cross-country skiing), Axel Burmansson (freeskiing) and Moa Gustafsson (mogul) – will receive special Olympic support as part of the preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.

"It is incredibly gratifying that our active athletes are being included in SOK's program. It shows that our long-term work to develop world-class skiers is yielding results" says Pernilla Bonde, Secretary General of the Swedish Ski Association.

A total of 13 athletes will receive support from SOK from July 1, of which six are from the Swedish Ski Association's operations.

"We are proud to have so many names included in SOK's initiatives. This is both a recognition of the individuals' capacity and an important investment in the future. We look forward to following their journey towards the Olympics," added Bonde.
