Kaet Johnson GM Of Marquette Mountain Elected To Board Of Michigan Snowsports Industries Association
Marquette Mountain Resort announced that General Manager Kaet Johnson was elected to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Snowsports Industries Association. The announcement was made at the MSIA Annual Member Meeting held at Snow Snake Ski and Golf area in Harrison, Michigan.
Kaet will serve as the representative for Upper Peninsula ski areas on the MSIA Board. Her term will be for three years.
Kaet brings extensive experience in the ski industry to the board, including leadership roles in National Ski Patrol, lift operations, lift maintenance, and snowmaking. She also has a background in strategic planning and problem-solving, with prior experience consulting for small businesses in technology, systems, and marketing. She holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering - Power from Michigan Technological University.
The Michigan Snowsports Industries Association (MSIA) is the trade association for the ski and snowboard industry in Michigan. Their mission is to promote snowsports, increase participation, and advocate for the industry statewide. MSIA offers a range of programs and discounts that make skiing and snowboarding more accessible, fun, and affordable.
