Ischgl Trophy Will Create A New Sports & Lifestyle Brand Starting In December 2025.

The Ischgl Trophy will create a new sports and lifestyle brand starting in December 2025. The VIP exhibition tennis tournament will take place for the first time at the Tennis Center Ischgl from December 11 to 13, 2025. This short, competitive tournament during the ATP off-season will feature prize money of €100,000, seating for 1,200 guests, and live TV and streaming coverage, featuring current and former tennis pros such as Dominic Thiem, Tommy Haas, Mischa Zverev, and Fabio Fognini. A total of six tennis aces will participate in the Ischgl Trophy, divided into two groups of three.

The venue, Ischgl in Tyrol, combines alpine lifestyle, exclusive entertainment, and athletic performance. The Ischgl Trophy will create a new highlight in Ischgl's calendar, which already boasts well-known events such as the "Top of the Mountain" concerts, which bring world-class stars to the Tyrolean mountains. By holding the event at the beginning of the winter season, the tennis tournament also sets a new sporting tone outside of traditional winter sports.

"The Ischgl Trophy is a unique opportunity to expand our diverse offerings with a top-class, international tennis event. We are very much looking forward to hosting the tournament and thus creating another highlight in our winter program – an event that underscores the diversity of experiences in Ischgl and meets the high expectations of our international guests," says Silvrettaseilbahn AG CEO Günther Zangerl.

Highlights on the courts will not only be provided by the charismatic Italian Fabio Fognini, but also by the Austrian tennis idol Dominic Thiem and the German duo Tommy Haas and Mischa Zverev, who will show at the Ischgl Trophy that they are still very good at handling the tennis racket.

"With its alpine backdrop and perfect infrastructure, Ischgl offers a stage like no other in tennis. The combination of winter sports, lifestyle, and a high-class tournament creates a unique experience – for players and guests alike. It is precisely this special blend that makes the Ischgl Trophy something extraordinary," said organizer Edwin Weindorfer at the event presentation on Thursday as part of the ongoing ATP grass court tournament BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart.

A diverse supporting program is also planned for the Ischgl Trophy: A mountain hut evening and a gala with high-quality cuisine showcase the diversity of the winter sports resort. The slopes of the Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun also invite you to ski, and the wellness offerings at the Silvretta Therme Ischgl invite you to relax.

A tennis clinic with Tommy Haas, a ProAm with professionals, and a ladies' exhibition match round out the sporting event. "Ischgl has always stood for extraordinary experiences – with the Ischgl Trophy, we prove once again that lifestyle, entertainment, and top-class sport can be perfectly combined," says Alexander von der Thannen, Chairman of the Paznaun-Ischgl Tourist Board.
