Action Outdoors Launches Its Most Comprehensive Choice Of All-Inclusive Summer Holidays

Action Outdoors, the UK arm of the not for profit UCPA organisation, has launched its summer programme with more holidays than ever before, in more destinations and with more activities on offer.

• New destinations include Mexico, Greece and Spain
• Over 20 different sports and activity types from the mountains to the sea
• Prices start at £345pp for an all-inclusive holiday
• Great options for solo travellers and groups

It’s the largest programme of its kind, offering all-inclusive packages across France and worldwide destinations, all with the same concept – ‘a great product that offers fantastic value for money’.

Activities that are offered include mountaineering, rock climbing, mountain biking, canyoning, road cycling, trail running, tennis, horse riding, kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving and sea kayaking.

UCPA centres are based in the French Alps and along the Atlantic and Mediterranean coast. More recently, UCPA Planete has launched, expanding its destinations worldwide to include Mexico, Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

It means hundreds of holidays across the whole year in 17 summer destinations, offering courses with top level instruction for all ability levels from beginners to experts.

New holidays for 2024

• UCPA Mountain Biking (June to August) – Serre Chevalier, French Alps. Ride single track terrain in the Haute Durance, suitable for people that have had at least one week of mountain biking previously (other courses for all levels also available). From £650pp including 6 nights full-board accommodation, instruction and guiding, mountain bike rental, mountain bike protection.
• UCPA learn to Paraglide (May 12 and August 25) – Serre Chevalier, French Alps. Experience a week of learning how to paraglide and take your first solo flights and gain an FFVL (French Free Flight Federation) passport. £1,145pp including 6 nights full-board accommodation in the UCPA Centre Serre Chevalier, 5 days of paragliding with instruction, paragliding equipment.
• UCPA Dinghy Sailing, all levels (July and August) – Bénodet, Brittany. This new destination offers a variety of water sports holidays including dinghy sailing with instruction, from beginners to experts. From £595pp including 6 nights full-board accommodation in the UCPA Centre Bénodet, sailing instruction, use of a dinghy.
• UCPA Scuba Diving (May to October) – Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. New UCPA Planete destination for 2024 offering a number of scuba diving holidays with the chance to visit local historical sites. From £868pp including 7 nights full-board accommodation in the UCPA Centre Playa Del Carmen (private villa residences), instruction, guiding, equipment.
• UCPA Kitesurfing (May to October) – Hurghada, Egypt. New for 2024, experience the best of the Red Sea and discover kitesurfing with instruction for beginners to experts. Scuba Diving also available. From £859pp including 7 nights full-board accommodation in the UCPA Centre (Sea Star Beau Rivage Hotel), instruction, equipment.

UCPA was set up in 1965 to encourage young people to take part in outdoors sports. It has since developed into a not for profit organisation that provides sport holidays for a wide range of ages with a huge range of accommodation options. Each year over 240,000 people enjoy a sport holiday with UCPA, enjoying accessibility to outdoor sports regardless of social background, income or culture. UCPA also offers trips and tours to some of the best destinations for outdoor sports in 75 countries including Vietnam, Portugal and Brazil.

A total of 80 different sports activities are offered in UCPA centres all year round, including, skiing, surfing, mountaineering, diving, sailing and horse riding. During winter, UCPA centres operate in some of the top resorts in the Alps such as Val Thorens, Tignes, Val d’Isère and Chamonix. The holidays are always All Inclusive – lift passes, ski hire, all meals and guiding is included in the price. UCPA is the largest ski school in France and have their own instructor development program which allows young people to develop their career in sport instruction, whilst providing a strong base of instructors and guides to work within each centre for the whole season.
