Leading ski tour operator Inghams is introducing a number of exciting new additions to its 2017/18 winter programme. Highlights include four new resorts, the reintroduction of its popular Ski Hosting service in Italy, and flexible holiday durations including an extended programme of short ski breaks to some of Europe’s top resorts in Switzerland, France and Austria. New flight routes to Klagenfurt and Ivalo will serve Bad Kleinkirchheim in Austria and Saariselkä in Lapland. This winter also marks the 20th anniversary of Inghams holidays to Finnish Lapland and, to celebrate, Inghams has extended its winter programme, which will run up until Easter 2018.
INGHAMS ADDS FOUR NEW RESORTS TO ITS WINTER 17/18 SKI PROGRAMME
For the coming winter season, Inghams has expanded its ski programme in Italy and France with the introduction of four new resorts, including:
Claviere, ITALY (1,760m)
Claviere is a delightful village and is Italy’s oldest ski resort. Located on the French border, just minutes from Montgenèvre, it’s well linked to the fantastic Milky Way ski area, offering quick access to 400km of piste. The local ski area also offers beginner-friendly skiing.
Livigno, ITALY (1,820m)
An old friend of Inghams, Livigno is re-joining its ski programme for this winter. Boasting extensive, high altitude skiing with low resort prices due to its duty-free status, this flourishing resort welcomes intermediate skiers and offers a wealth of winter entertainment and fantastic shopping.
Pila & Aosta, ITALY (1,800m)
Pila is a hidden gem that offers snow-sure skiing in a magical terrain, with rarely over-crowded pistes and an easy-to-navigate ski area, ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. A 20-minute cable-car links Pila with historic Aosta, for those who wish to venture further afield.
Les Menuires, FRANCE (1,815m)
Boasting convenient doorstep skiing at the foot of La Masse, Les Menuires provides some of the best access to the Three Valleys with an affordable price tag. Beginners and intermediates can find a large choice of runs to choose from and advanced skiers can enjoy non-pisted terrain and the BK snow park.
INGHAMS REINTRODUCES ITS POPULAR SKI HOSTING SERVICE IN ITALY
One of the highlights of a ski holiday for many Inghams guests is to join their Rep and fellow holidaymakers on a sociable ski day out. Inghams is pleased to announce the reintroduction of its fantastically popular, complimentary ‘Meet The Pistes’ service in many resorts across Italy, including in Livigno, one of Inghams’ new resorts for Winter 17/18. Following the continued success of the service in other resorts in Switzerland, Austria and Canada, Inghams is dedicated to enhancing guests’ holiday experiences by sharing its expertise on the mountain – through this service, Reps can show new guests around and help them plan their week with tips on the best ski runs and mountain restaurants. The complimentary service adds value to the guests’ holidays and is ideal for friends, couples or single travellers who are red-run competent and looking to make the most of their time on the mountain.
IN CELEBRATION OF ITS 20TH YEAR IN FINNISH LAPLAND, INGHAMS EXTENDS ITS WINTER PROGRAMME UNTIL EASTER 2018
Inghams is pleased to announce the extension of its winter season in Levi and Ylläs, with seven night holidays running up until Easter 2018 (1st April). New direct flights from London Gatwick to Ivalo (from 17th December 2017 – 3rd March 2018) will shorten the transfer to Saariselkä to just 20 minutes, saving two-and-a-half hours in travelling time. Inghams’ three and four night Santa Breaks have also been extended to now include departures from the 26th November 2017 right up until Christmas, with direct flights from Bristol, Manchester and London Gatwick.
INGHAMS EXPANDS ITS SHORT BREAKS PROGRAMME FOR WINTER 2017/18
Inghams has expanded its short breaks programme this winter to include many resorts in Austria, Switzerland and France. Guests can stay in one of Europe’s top resorts including Kühtai, Mürren and Chamonix, and can pre-book their lift passes, equipment hire and tuition through Inghams at the time of booking.
