Over $25,000 Raised For The Childhood Cancer Lifeline Of New Hampshire At Pats Peak
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline 2017 event at Pats Peak raised over $25,000, insuring much needed support for NH families who have a child battling cancer. The generosity of auction and dinner attendees was matched by Pats Peak skier/riders, and employees, who donated at cashier locations through the donation request campaign. Visitors and employees papered the lodges with well wishes, collectively donating $7,065. Pats Peak donated a portion of their March Midweek Online Lift Ticket sales to the Childhood Cancer Lifeline for a total additional donation of $365. The total that has been raised in the past 17 years at the Childhood Cancer Lifeline Event at Pats Peak is over three hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Sylvia Pelletier, President of the Childhood Cancer Lifeline says: “Each year we are deeply moved by the outpouring of support from Pats Peak employees, vendors, skiers and riders, community members, businesses, and families. We can’t thank them enough. They make this event, and allow us to meet the very practical and critical needs of families in treatment; funding gas cards, meals, and bills for families. The funds also allow us to offer families moments of much needed respite and fun.”
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline has a dedicated group of board members, and volunteers who work very hard to organize and run this event. In addition, they would like to thank community volunteers Rita Blanchard, Karen Kana and Jenn Pineo for their assistance in making this event such a success.

The Childhood Cancer Lifeline of NH was founded in the fall of 1995 by a group of parents whose children had childhood cancer. Since their inception, they have been a strictly volunteer organization dedicated to addressing the practical and emotional needs of New Hampshire families dealing with pediatric cancer. The mission is to empower New Hampshire families who are coping with childhood cancer by providing knowledge, resources, assistance, and hope.
