The first residential opportunities at the new Snowmass Base Village are now available for sale — just in time for the New Year.
Residences at the Limelight Snowmass and Lumin, both of which are under construction, have been listed and will begin accepting contracts starting January 16, 2018. Residences at the newly-remodeled Viceroy Snowmass are also available for sale.
“We are excited to begin sales and to start showcasing the wonderful community we are creating for families looking to find a mountain home at Snowmass,” said Andy Gunion, managing partner for EWP. “These residences are truly extraordinary, offering a sophisticated mountain design and stunning views that put people right in the heart of one of the best year-round resorts in the world.”
These whole-ownership residences are part of the transformation of Snowmass Base Village currently underway, a $600 million collaboration between three major Colorado players in the mountain resort business — East West Partners (EWP), Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) and KSL Capital Partners. The development is currently the largest mountain resort development underway in North America.
“This collection of new residential opportunities offers an incredible range of options for buyers,” said John Calhoun, vice president of sales and marketing for East West Partners. “Snowmass Base Village is now offering residences that range in size from a studio in the Viceroy to a spacious four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home in Lumin. Everyone, from multi-generational families looking for a mountain home-base to buyers looking for an exclusive, one-of-a-kind getaway, can find their place at Snowmass Base Village.”
The Limelight Snowmass, designed as the “living room” of Snowmass Base Village, is a 99-room hotel on track for completion in November 2018 that includes 11 residences for sale. Prices start at $1.875 million for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence, rising to $4.675 million for a spacious corner three-bedroom, three-bathroom home. The residences feature a mountain modern design and large window walls throughout the great room and kitchen showcasing stunning plaza and mountain views. Owners of the for-sale residences will have access to the Snowmass Mountain Club, an exclusive private club located in the Limelight with lockers, ski valet, a lounge area and social activities, as well as exciting hotel amenities including the fitness center, outdoor spa pools, kids’ room and more.
Lumin is Snowmass Base Village’s most exclusive address with only three residences, each with direct elevator access. All three residences feature a fresh contemporary alpine design with expansive and stunning views of the mountain resort in a unique, jewel-box building. Raised ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor decks create the perfect space for social owners who want to see and be seen. In addition to being just a few steps from the lifts, owners will also have privileges at Snowmass Mountain Club, and the Limelight Hotel. Pricing for these three residences starts at $3.3 million.
The Viceroy Snowmass has returned to the market with 15 residences currently for sale ranging in price from $225,000 for a studio to $1.96 million for a three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence. The Viceroy recently completed a significant part of its $4 million renovation, including a new restaurant, Toro Latin Kitchen and Lounge by Richard Sandoval, a redesigned lobby, a new coffee bar and an expanded fitness area. The pool area and re-imaging of Nest as a slopeside restaurant will be completed this summer.
This winter, construction will begin on One Snowmass, which will include 41 condominium residences in two buildings designed to capture the historic essence of iconic ski lodge designs while offering all the modern amenities that come with the newest ski area base village in the country.
All of these residences will be anchored by a new public plaza featuring an ice skating rink in winter that turns into an events lawn with children’s pop-up fountains in summer. The Plaza will be a central gathering place for guests, locals, and homeowners to share their passion for the mountain experience while enjoying music, food, art and fun family activities.
This residential collection can be further discovered by visiting the new Snowmass Base Village Real Estate Experience located in Base Village directly across from Slice. With a large physical model, 16 panel video wall and more, it’s an experience to be viewed first-hand.
