Michael Kors And Ellesse Launch Skiwear Collection In Their Second Collab’

Michael Kors has teamed up with the Italian sportswear brand Ellesse for the second time to launch a capsule collection for winter skiwear.

The capsule is an exciting mix of Michael Kors and Ellesse, featuring an exclusive one-of-a-kind logo. Pieces are emblazoned with this new insignia that blends the fashion brands’ logos together.

Commenting on the second collaboration, Michael Kors said in a statement: “Ellesse is a pioneer in bringing high style to the world of skiing, and I’ve always designed apparel and accessories that combine glamour and ease. I’m ecstatic with our capsule collection of luxe, glamorous sportswear. It’s perfect for the ski lodge or hitting the town streets.”

These are the perfect colours for bringing the logo to life. The navy blue and white perfectly contrast with the orange and red shades of the first Michael Kors x Ellesse collaboration.

The new collection includes colour-blocked pullovers, jackets, puffer vests, striped track pants, leggings, gloves and ribbed beanies for a classic ski look in Ellesse’s signature hues of orange and red, offset of navy and white. Apart from clothing Kors’ Hudson backpack, Slater sling pack and Hudson tote are all a part of the collection.

Simon Breckon, the Brand Director of Ellesse said: “Ellesse was born on the slopes. The Ellesse and Michael Kors collection combines the Italian flair of Ellesse with the glamour and luxurious touches that are unique to the Michael Kors philosophy to create looks that work well on slopes as well as in streetwear. Bringing effortless style and sharp tailoring to après ski.”

Both the brands had chosen Emily Ratajkowski and David Agbodji as the face of the campaign. The campaign was shot by famous photographer Daniel Clavero and styled by Mel Ottenberg, the Editor-in-chief of Interview magazine.

The first Michael Kors and Ellesse collaboration, which debuted in May of this year, included range of tracksuits and bottoms, as well as footwear and accessories like chunky sneakers, slides, neon bucket hats and bags.
