Plans For 'World's Largest (Virtual) Ski Show' Announced

Earlier on this year a new winter sports event at The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead was launched - due to take place over the last weekend of September.

But, due to the social distancing regulations that remain in place because of Covid-19, the decision to postpone the event until 2021 has been made. It is not possible to plan for the event when at present The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead still remains closed.

However, a new virtual event: ‘The World’s Largest Ski Show’ is launching

The World’s Largest Ski Show is a brand new virtual event showcasing the very best winter sports brands, destinations, holidays and experiences – all in one place, direct to the homes of ski and snowboard fans from October 1-4, 2020.

Visitors will be able to check out the best new kit, book their next trip, talk to the experts and party in the festivals zone. Members of the public that have never been on a winter sports holiday, can also learn all about skiing and snowboarding from the comfort of their home.

Running over the course of four days, Thursday October 1 (trade and press day) to Sunday October 4, The World’s Largest Ski Show will play host to hundreds of exhibitors, athletes, DJ’s, bands, comedians and experts in their fields, all there to entertain, inform and inspire skiers and snowboarders to get out on the slopes and take every opportunity to maximise their time in the mountains.
