Demaclenko Moves To New Headquarters In Vipiteno

DEMACLENKO is expanding even more: by moving into its new headquarters in Vipiteno, Italy, next to its sister companies LEITNER ropeways and PRINOTH, the technological leader in the snowmaking sector is proceeding along its path to success. The new headquarters are a perfect location for ensuring continued growth and making further state-of-the-art contributions to innovation in this rapidly moving sector.

To meet the demands of rapidly growing order books and to create greater capacity for further growth, DEMACLENKO, which is part of the LEITNER group, has moved its headquarters from Chiusa to Vipiteno. Thus, not just ropeways and snow groomers, but also snowmaking systems are being developed, designed, produced and sold in Vipiteno. The group has thus created a unique technological cluster by bundling its strengths in a single place and underscoring its position as a leader in providing complete solutions for winter sport technologies on the market.

The move to Vipiteno was pulled off without a hitch and with production running smoothly. The new DEMACLENKO headquarters consist of a new office building, a big production hall with its own welding shop, a showroom with a (partly roofed) outside area with a special testing stand to test the mettle of the machines. In Vipiteno, the entire design and production of the systems and the production of special machines are being carried out. Together with its production site in Telfs, DEMACLENKO can react better and more rapidly to opportunities and challenges coming from the market. DEMCLENKO’s CEO, Andreas Dorfmann emphasizes that “this ensures that it will be possible to focus even more on uncompromising quality: every system, every machine and every single part – everything that leaves the company shall have been tested and approved 100 percent.”

For DEMACLENKO, the move also means merging both company headquarters from Chiusa and Selva di Val Gardena. This allows for bundling resources, speeding up work processes and making better use of potential. Only the research and development division is still located in Selva, because the plant there is right next to the slopes and tests can be carried out on the spot. That is why it was decided to move production to Vipiteno, so as to allow Selva to concentrate fully on R&D.

This important investment in the Vipiteno site will allow us to enhance DEMACLENKO’s strengths so as to be best equipped for meeting the demands of the global market and to respond even more quickly and efficiently to customers’ needs.

The official inauguration of the new DEMACLENKO headquarters is to take place in January.
